Tooth Ache

Remedy (Nuskhe)

  • Pound some asafetida (hing) in a mortar and pestle and add some lemon juice.  Heat it slightly.  Soak a piece of cotton and hold it on the affected area.
  • Heat 1 teaspoon coconut oil and fry 3 piece of cloves (laung).  Powder.  Apply on the affected area.
  • Apply nutmeg oil in affected parts.
  • Burn the shells of almonds and powder.  Use as toothpowder.
  • Cotton pad dipped in vanilla essence placed on an aching tooth gives immediate relief.
  • Dip a cotton bud in clove oil (laung ka tel) and apply on the tooth.  Don’t apply raw clove oil as this can damage the nerves.  Always use a commercial clove oil (laung ka tel) meant for this purpose.  Powdered black pepper (kali mirch) can be mixed with the oil and used.
  • For toothache grind 8-10 tulsi leaves along with 5-6 peppercorns (sabut kaali mirch) and place this paste between the affected teeth or cavity.
  • If you have a tooth-ache, boil a few neem leaves in two cups water and rinse your mouth a few times with this water.  You will get immediate relief from pain.
  • A pinch of salt applied to the aching tooth will bring temporary relief.
