Bed Wetting in Children
Bed wetting in Children

What is bed wetting?

Bed-wetting or enuresis is unconsciously urinating during the night.  This condition is more common amongst children.  Although most children between the ages of three and five begin to stay dry at night, the age at which children are physically and emotionally ready to have bladder control differs.

Causes

Continual bed-wetting could be related to two things:  A)  A physically and/or neurologically weak bladder.  B)  A deep sleeping pattern.  C)  An inherited condition.

Symptoms

No control over the bladder function specially at night.  In adults, loss of bladder control is often referred to as urinary incontinence.  This is found in patients with late-stage Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia.  It is seen that bedwetting in children eventually subsides when children grow up.  However some times children need behavioral or psychological treatment to be cured.

Remedy (Nuskhe)

Give 2 walnuts halves (akhrot giri) and 5 raisins (kishmish) to the child before sleeping for 10-12 days.
