Intestinal Worms

Remedy (Nuskhe)

  • Eat papayas regularly.
  • Take 5-10 seeds of bitter gourd (karela) and crush them.  Fry them in a little ghee.  Take twice daily.
  • For 3-5 year old children.  Give a tiny piece of jiggery (gur), about 10 gm, first thing in the morning to the child.  Let the child rest for 15 minutes.  Now given ¼ teaspoon of ground carom seeds (ajwain) with a glass of water.  (Grind ajwain and store in an air tight bottle).  For adults you may increase the quantity to double.
  • Fry 1 teaspoon dried neem flowers in 1 teaspoon ghee and mix with 1 cup boiled rice and eat twice or thrice a day.
  • Slice and dry the kernel of mango pit (guthli) and mango powder along with 1 tablespoon fenugreek seeds (methi daana).  Take 1 teaspoon mixed with buttermilk.
  • Intestinal disorders or disturbances benefit a lot from the nicotinic acid content of dates.  Hence liberal use of dates in your daily diet helps and encourages the growth of friendly bacteria in the intestines and cures intestinal disorders.
  • Kernel of a ripe coconut is excellent for the expulsion of worms particularly tapeworm.  Grate the coconut and have 2 tablespoon of this followed by a dose of castor oil after 2-3 hours.  Repeat this everyday till the worms have been expelled.
