What is ulcer?
Ulcers are wounds that develop on the mucous membranes. When ulcers affect the gastrointestinal tract, they are called peptic ulcers.
Causes
- Hyperacidity due to heavy meals, highly spiced foods, coffee, alcohol and smoking.
- Bacterial infection.
- Stress and other psychological factors.
- Worsened by certain drugs.
Symptoms
Abdominal pain, bloating and abdominal fullness, nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite and weight loss.
Remedy (Nuskhe)
- Having tea made with fenugreek seeds (methi daana).
- Eating bananas or having banana shake twice a day.
- A glass of goat's milk taken twice daily.
- Having milk prepared from blanched almonds.
