JASMINE (JASMINUM GRANDIFLORUM)

Effects: Soothing.

Aroma: : Base note.

This is a shrub native to Asia and India which is cultivated in China and the Mediterranean regions. It is an evergreen with small, fragrant flowers.

Properties: 

  • Antidepressant.
  • Antiseptic.
  • Antispasmodic.
  • Expectorant.

Contra-indications: 
Generally none but allergic reactions have been known.

Extraction:
Solvent extraction of the flowers.

Uses:

  • Headache.
  • Anxiety.
  • Lack of confidence.
